Overview
Consult a doctor immediately if you experience irritation or feel something in the eyes, or if you have vision problems (blurred vision, areoles, or colored pictures) along with redness, during or after using the drug.
All this can be a sign of a serious undesirable effect - cornerstone glaucoma. It can also happen if the drug gets into the eyes.
Tell your attending physicians, dentists and pharmacists that you are undergoing treatment with Univent, a solution for inhalation.
If you Univent prescribed a new drug, tell your doctor and doctor that you are taking Ipratropium, inhalation solution.
If you have a surgery planned, tell your doctor or anesthetist that you are using Ipratropium Inhalation Solution

What should not be done
Do not take other medicines to treat breathing problems without consulting your doctor.

Adults:
From 1 to 2 ml of the drug is diluted another medical 2-3 ml with 0.9% sodium chloride solution and sprayed (nebulized) until the entire volume of the solution is inhaled, 4 times daily.
Children:
1 ml is diluted to 2-3 ml with 0.9% sodium chloride solution and sprayed (nebulized) until the entire volume of the solution is inhaled, 4 times daily.
