Overview
Gentamicin is a broad-spectrum bactericidal antibiotic from the aminoglycoside group. Effectively fights aerobic gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria.
Available in several dosage forms.
- Ointment for external use 0.1% - packed in aluminum tubes of 10 and 15 g.
- Solution for intramuscular and intravenous administration - packaged in 2 ml ampoules.
