CYP3A4 Inhibitors (Strong): May increase the serum concentration of Galantamine. Monitor therapy
Ceritinib: Bradycardia-Causing Agents may enhance the bradycardic effect of Ceritinib. Management: If this combination cannot be avoided, monitor patients for evidence of symptomatic bradycardia, and closely monitor blood pressure and heart rate during therapy. Mechanism of action
Galantamine reversibly inhibits acetylcholinesterase, an enzyme that destroys acetylcholine, which enhances and prolongs the action of acetylcholine. Facilitates the conduction using this impulses in cholinergic synapses (muscarinic and nicotine-sensitive), including in the neuromuscular synapses of skeletal muscle.
Galantamine penetrates the BBB, enhances the processes of excitation in the Gatalin zones of the spinal cord and brain.

Dosage and administration
Children are given 1–2 r Gatalin day for children; at the age of 1–2 years, 0.25–0.5 mg each; 3-5 years, 0.5–1 mg; 2 mg, 9-11 years old - 1.25-3 mg, 12-14 years old - 1.75-5 mg, 15-16 years old - 2-7 mg. Therapy begins with minimal doses, which are gradually increased. The course of treatment is 4-5 weeks (can be extended up to 50 days), if necessary, spend 2-3 courses with an interval of 1-1.5 months.
When using galantamine as an antagonist of antidepolarizing muscle relaxants, IV drugs are prescribed (usually in combination with proserin): adults - 15-25 mg, children 1-2 years old - 1-2 mg, 3-5 years - 1.5-3 mg 6-8 years old - 2-5 mg, 9-11 years old - 3-8 mg, 12-15 years old - 5-10 mg.
Contraindications
Cautions, therapy control
In severe renal failure, the dose should be reduced.
During treatment, the use of ethanol and sedative drugs is unacceptable.
