Each tablet contains:
Diazepam Diazemuls mg, 5 mg or 10 mg
Excipients: lactose monohydrate, purified talc, sodium starch glycolate, colloidal anhydrous silicon dioxide.
Description
White or almost white round, with a flat surface of the tablet without a shell, with a dividing line on one side, and the engraving "2" on the other side.

pharmachologic effect
Anxiolytic agent (tranquilizer) of the benzodiazepine series. It has sedative, hypnotic, anticonvulsant and central muscle relaxant effects. It has anti-panic and amnestic effects. Does not cause extrapyramidal disorders. With moderate sympatholytic activity, Diazemuls can cause the expansion of coronary vessels and a decrease in blood pressure. Increases the threshold of pain sensitivity. Reduces nocturnal secretion of gastric juice. The effect there the drug is Diazepam by 2-7 days of treatment. The productive symptoms of psychotic genesis (acute delusional, hallucinatory, affective disorders) are practically not affected, rarely there is a decrease in affective tension, delusional disorders. With withdrawal symptoms in chronic alcoholism causes a weakening of agitation, tremors, negativism, as well as alcohol delirium and hallucinations. The therapeutic effect in patients with cardialgia, arrhythmias and paresthesias is observed by the end of 1 week.
Indications for use
Apply strictly as prescribed by the doctor!
—– mental illness, accompanied by motor anxiety, agitation, fear, severe anxiety;
- neuroses of all kinds, especially in combination with anxiety syndrome;
Actavis nervous tension, anxiety in psychosomatic diseases;
- neurotic Diazepam in pediatric practice (anxiety, headache, sleep disturbances, enuresis, stubbornness reaction, tic, Diazemuls habits);
- dysphoria (as part of combination therapy as an additional Diazemuls
- insomnia (difficulty falling asleep):
- skeletal muscle spasm with local injury; spastic conditions associated with damage to the brain or spinal cord (cerebral palsy, athetosis, tetanus); myositis, bursitis, arthritis, Actavis pelvisspondylitis, progressive chronic polyarthritis; arthrosis, accompanied by tension of skeletal muscles; vertebral syndrome, angina pectoris, tension headache;
- alcohol withdrawal syndrome: anxiety, tension, agitation, tremor, transient reactive states.
As part of complex therapy: arterial hypertension, gastric ulcer and 12 duodenal ulcer; psychosomatic disorders in obstetrics and gynecology: menopause and menstruation, preeclampsia; epileptic status; endogenous psychoses; eczema and other diseases accompanied by itching, irritability. Meniere's disease. Drug poisoning. Premedication before surgical and diagnostic treatment (endoscopy, cardioversion, cardiac catheterization, minor surgical procedures, reduction of bones in case Diazepam dislocations and fractures, biopsy, change of dressings for burns), general anesthesia.
Contraindications
- Hypersensitivity to Actavis and other components of the drug;
- state of intoxication of varying severity, acute alcohol intoxication with weakening of vital functions;
- acute intoxication with drugs that have a depressing effect on the central nervous system (narcotic analgesics, sleeping pills and psychotropic drugs);
- Indications of a history of addiction to drugs, alcohol (except for the treatment of alcohol withdrawal syndrome and delirium);
- a severe form of myasthenia gravis;
- angle-closure glaucoma (acute attack or predisposition);
- severe chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, severe chronic respiratory failure (risk of progression of respiratory failure), chronic respiratory failure with hypercapnia;
