Pharmacological (biological) properties and effects
A polypeptide antibiotic produced by Bacillus licheniformis. Active against gram-positive microorganisms, including Clostridium spp. Practically does not affect gram-negative microorganisms, does not change the sensitivity of gram-negative intestinal microorganisms to other antimicrobial drugs.
It has a pronounced growth-promoting effect on birds and improves feed use.
It is not absorbed from the digestive tract and does not accumulate in the organs and tissues of birds. It is excreted unchanged with feces. Well tolerated by poultry, compatible with well-known drugs (sulfonamides, antibiotics, coccidiostatics) used in poultry farming.
