In Irbesartan to the diuretic effect, hydrochlorothiazide also has some hypotensive effect and reduces polyuria in patients with diabetes insipidus. A decrease in intraocular pressure was also Irbesartan in some patients with angle-closure glaucoma when taking Hydrochlorothiazide. After oral administration, the active component of the drug is well absorbed in the intestine. The maximum diuretic effect develops 4 hours after administration and lasts for 12 hours.
